Show us your Steampunk style! Friday, August 11 is Steampunk Day at the Fair, presented by the Mount Washington Cog Railway. Come dressed in a Steampunk-inspired outfit on this day and receive $1 off Fair admission. There will be a Steampunk fashion contest at noon at The Cog’s Peppersass engine, which will be on display at the Fair. Mrs. Cornelia Marsh (wife of Sylvester Marsh, the inventor of the Mount Washington Cog Railway) is judging the contest. The fashion contest winner will receive two tickets to ride The Cog.
Peppersass is on display every day of the Fair!
Come and see this historic engine, take a photo with Peppersass, and enter to win free tickets to ride The Cog! Handcrafted in New England, Peppersass was the first cog-driven locomotive to climb Mount Washington. After this historic event in 1869, the Peppersass engine was used to build The Mount Washington Cog Railway. The Mount Washington Cog Railway is a proud partner with the League of NH Craftsmen.
